Cassio Pero, MBA

Cassio Quinton Pero is a native of Chicago and a dynamic leader in the financial services industry with over a decade of experience. He combines his passion for sports and finance, having worked with prominent organizations including the Chicago Bulls, Bank of America and JP Morgan Private Bank. Cassio holds two master's degrees, the first in Sports Administration from Delaware State University and an MBA from the University of Illinois.

A former team captain and Division 1 All-American wrestler for the Fighting Illini, he helped lead his team to the 2005 B1G Ten Championship—only the second team title in the program’s history. Cassio’s championship mindset and pedigree began early in his life as a four-time Illinois Kids Wrestling Federation state champion, a state champion from the renowned Mt. Carmel high school in Chicago and he was ultimately inducted into the Illinois Wrestling and Coaches Hall of Fame in 2023.

 

Beyond his professional and athletic achievements, Cassio stays grounded in his purpose through his strong faith in God. He enjoys fitness, fishing, movies, and spending quality time with family and friends.
